Trevor Whitaker is a photographer based in San Diego, California. Originally from the Boston, Massachusetts area he has been involved in photography for nearly 20 years. He started working with musicians, shooting both live shows and portraits for promos. Through this he was later involved in the formation of Boston’s Lollipop Magazine, a monthly magazine about the music and art scene in Boston. After moving to San Diego in 1998 and being amazed by the change in surroundings he developed an interest in photographing the new landscapes around him.

Trevor is an avid fan of the art and science of photography both today and in techniques of the past. Whether it’s modern digital techniques like high dynamic range (HDR), old process techniques such as daguerrotypes or techniques that have endured through the history of photography such as stereoscopy he has a deep love of the process and a desire to experiment with all of these in the creation process.
